Is owning a home still a good investment?🤔
My answer is a resounding YES!
Historically, real estate has always been a solid investment.
I’ll give you an example, over any seven year period of time real estate has always gone up. That means if you bought a home on the eve of the Great Depression, 7 years later it would still be worth more. Even after the real estate crash of 2008, home prices had fully recovered by late 2012. So if you bought a house at the very peak of the recession in 2007, and held the property for 5 years, you made money.
It’s important to remember that investing in real estate is a marathon, and it’s not a sprint. And real estate will always be a great investment.
