There’s a lot of noise out there about timing the market—but every once in a while, the data gives us something clear.
According to Realtor.com, the week of April 13–19 has historically been the best time to list a home. And while that’s a national trend (with the exception of 2020), our local Carmel Valley market shows something even more compelling.
In April and May, single-family homes in the 92130 area often sell up to $30,000–$34,000 more—and as much as 9 days faster—compared to other times of the year. That’s a meaningful advantage, especially in a market where every detail counts.
So if selling has been on your mind—even as a distant idea—this window could be worth a closer look.
Because the truth is, timing alone won’t sell a home—but when the right preparation meets the right moment, the results speak for themselves.
